Fancy an adrenaline filled challenge? Why not join the Stroke Association for an exhilarating Zip Slide from the Imperial War Museum on Saturday 12th October and Sunday 13th October 2013?
The IWM North offers a thrilling 250m zip across the Manchester Ship Canal, landing in front of the Lowry. Participants will launch themselves from the Air Shard at a height of 30m.
There's no experience needed, you'll be informed of everything you need to know when you arrive. The trained instructors will kit you up and send you on your way for an experience to remember.
The registration fee for this event is £45 and there's no set sponsorship target from us, we just ask that you raise as much as you can so they sky's the limit! You can sign up today by going to the Zip Slides UK Website.
Stroke kills 50,000 people every year in the UK and leaves 50,000 severely disabled. We believe in life after stroke. We know that every step matters on the road to recovery. For one person it might be making a cup of tea for themselves. For someone else it might be taking their first steps for the first time after their stroke. Every step matters. Every victory counts.
Your support means we can be there for more people living with stroke.

This will be Zip Slides UK's third open event at this fantastic venue and with their two previous events running at full capacity and raising in excess of £100,000 it continues to provide some great fundraising opportunities to local and National charities.
