From the Manchester Theatre Award-winning company comes their fifth world première at The Lowry; a darkly comic musical journey into a heart of darkness.
It is 2006 and a man is about to have tea, alone in his home, with a dictator accused of crimes against humanity: one Robert Gabriel Mugabe. The night before, the man navigates his life and Mugabe’s ignominious legacy in search of an answer to one terrible question: when they meet the next day, does he serve him tea or shoot him dead?
Based on a true story.
