To celebrate World Autism Awareness Week, Ordsall Hall will be inviting people to book on to visiting the museum on Friday 3rd April.
The museum is normally closed to the public on Fridays, so this will be an exclusive event, where footfall will be limited to 10 persons per hour and in which all interactives, sounds and bright lights will be switched off, with a small staff team on site, to make the experience less overwhelming.
The site now has a "Familiarisation Guide" for visitors who would like to know more about the site, before visiting.
To book a place on the private open day please email firstname.lastname@example.org
