Lime, Ordsall Hall and the Helly Hansen Watersports Centre have all joined The Quays Partnership, the team that promotes The Quays as a tourism destination in Britain. The Quays is Greater Manchester’s stunning waterfront destination and home to some of the most spectacular attractions and iconic buildings in the UK.
The partnership is comprised of the Northwest’s best cultural, sporting and leisure destinations, including The Lowry, IWM North, part of Imperial War Museums, City Centre Cruises, Mersey Ferries, and the Lowry Outlet. Also, included in the partnership is Hotel Football, The Copthorne Manchester, Marketing Manchester and MediaCityUK.
A tempting selection of local and seasonal produce is on offer at Lime, an independent restaurant and bar located in the heart of The Quays. Happy hour runs from 4-6pm on weeknights, with an extended happy hour every Tuesday and Thursday until 10pm. Whether it’s a business lunch, post-work drinks, pre-theatre dinner or a romantic meal, Lime is the perfect destination.
Helly Hansen Watersports Centre offers a wide range of fun activities, both indoor and outdoor, from Windsurfing to Wakeboarding, Climbing, Canoeing, Open Water Swimming, Powerboating, Raftbuilding and Bellboating. Plus there’s a range of courses, private lessons, group sessions and corporate packages available.
Enjoy a day out at Ordsall Hall, Salford’s Grade 1 listed Tudor manor house, which was first recorded in 1177. The engaging heritage site is open to visitors five days a week throughout the year. Surrounded by landscaped grounds, the Tudor manor house boasts hands on exhibitions, immersive room settings and a small cafe.
